Description: In the centre, a cartouche of Amenhotep I, pharaoh of the 18th dynasty (1557-1501), and two uraeus (a stylised form of an Egyptian cobra), a symbol of royalty. The palettes were used to mix makeup colours; later they also became objects for votive offerings.
